Pistachios salted in shell
Pistachios, salted, are very healthy. A handful of these nuts provide you with more nutrients than expected! Pistachios contain many important substances, including proteins, fiber and vitamins (B1, B2, B6, B11, C and E) and minerals (including potassium, calcium, phosphorus, iron, magnesium).
Research shows that peeling pistachios makes you more aware of your eating behavior and that you eat less. This is because you have to peel off the shell while eating. People who peel off the pistachio shells consume 42% fewer calories than people who eat the already peeled version.
Pistachios are packed with energy and low in calories (100 calories per 30 pistachios). They are healthy nuts that can be eaten during weight loss and exercise. Good to know: the vitamin B6 in pistachios ensures a better immune system and helps with the production of red blood cells that keep your lymph nodes healthy.
