Hazelnuts blanched
Hazelnuts, blanched, crispy and full of flavour. Hazelnuts contain a lot of vitamins from the B complex, such as vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 and B11. This nut also contains vitamins C, E and K, and provides your body with important antioxidants. Furthermore, hazelnuts are rich in minerals: manganese, copper, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus and zinc. Relatively speaking, the hazelnut contains the most vitamin E of all nut types: 100 grams of hazelnuts are enough for 100% of the Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) of vitamin E. In addition, 100 grams of hazelnuts provide you with no less than 54% of the RDI in magnesium. Moreover, like all types of nuts, they are also rich in fiber, a good source of protein and full of unsaturated fatty acids that actively lower your cholesterol. A real super nut!
Delicious as a healthy snack in between. Also delicious in sweet or savory dishes, biscuits and cakes.
The skin of the hazelnut is removed by first roasting the nuts. Then they are wrapped in a tea towel, cooled, and the fleece rubbed off.
