Almonds Unroasted and Unsalted
Almonds, unroasted and unsalted, are rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vegetable proteins, fiber, calcium and iron. They also contain a relatively high amount of vitamin E and magnesium. With 100 grams of this type of nut you already cover your recommended daily amount of magnesium. In addition, they are very popular with vegans, vegetarians and athletes due to their high vegetable protein content. 100 grams of almonds contain no less than 20 grams of protein, which makes them a good substitute for meat or dairy products. Delicious as a healthy snack in between meals or as a fitness snack after an intensive workout to regenerate or build up muscles!
Compared to the white variant, these almonds are even richer in phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and calcium due to the preservation of the brown membrane.
If you also want to benefit from the nutrients in almonds when baking, you can also try substituting almond flour for wheat flour. Rich in protein and easily digestible.
Like a large part of the almonds consumed worldwide, our brown almonds also come from the USA. California is home to most of the world’s almond cultivation: no fewer than 30 different varieties of almonds are grown here, with 10 varieties accounting for 70% of production!
Our brown almonds are available in cardboard displays of 12 x 180 grams or 12 x 45 grams.
