Cashew nuts roasted & salted
Cashew nuts roasted & salted are packed with vitamins, minerals, protein and healthy unsaturated fats. They are also a good source of fiber. In addition, they are not only very tasty as a snack, but also work well as a topping over a salad or, for example, with an Eastern meal. Salted cashew nuts are also particularly good as a healthier alternative to chips or conventional cocktail nuts because of their strong nutritional values. In contrast to chips or coated cocktail nuts that are highly processed, only salt is added to this snack.
Cashew nuts contain almost all B vitamins, namely vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B3, vitamin B5, vitamin B6 and vitamin B11. In addition, they are rich in minerals: phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, iron, copper, zinc, potassium, sodium. These contribute to a healthy immune system and nervous system.
Delicious as a healthy snack or after exercise for muscle recovery and muscle building!
Interesting to know: During the processing of cashew nuts, a by-product called Cashew Nut Shell Liquid is created, an oily liquid. This ingredient has been used traditionally in tropical medicine for its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.
