Pecan nuts unroasted & unsalted
Pecan nuts are the sweet brother of the walnut and are therefore also a favorite of many people. Together with walnuts, they contain the highest amount of antioxidants and cholesterol-lowering compounds of all nuts. In addition, these nuts contain more than 19 vitamins and minerals, such as vitamins E and A, folic acid, calcium, magnesium, copper, phosphorus, potassium, manganese and zinc. The pecan nut looks like a brain for a reason: its nutrients have a particularly good influence on your brain function due to the high amount of vitamin B.
You can use the nuts in cookies, cakes, pastries, salads or simply mix with yogurt or porridge. It is also used by vegetarians and vegans as a minced meat substitute in, for example, pasta or meatballs. For this, it is finely ground.
