Mulberries white BIO
Mulberries are the fruits of the mulberry tree (morus) and belong to the fig and breadfruit family. They are not seen as superfoods for nothing: they are tasty and incredibly healthy. Mulberries are rich in vitamins, including C, E, A, K, B6 and minerals: sodium, magnesium, calcium, selenium, iron, potassium, zinc, phosphorus and copper. They are also a good source of fiber and antioxidants. The mulberry contains a high concentration of Vitamin C. In 100 grams of berries, there is about 36.4 mg of iron (450% of the daily amount).
Mulberries have a sweet and honey-like taste, a bit like raisins but more fruity. Because the berries are dried, they are nice and crunchy. The super berries are delicious as a snack, but also easy to use in products. For example, you can put them through yogurt or add them to a fruit salad, a smoothie, pies, pastries, jams and even wines.
