Dried figs
Dried figs are not only delicious and super healthy, they have many more benefits. They are particularly rich in fiber. The fiber in this type of fruit ensures good digestion and bowel movements. Also vitamins A, B, C and K are found in the fig as well as the minerals potassium, magnesium, zinc, calcium, copper, manganese and iron. The figs contain a lot of energy, which is why they are a good and healthy snack before or after exercise.
The figs have a nice, sweet taste. You can eat them as a healthy snack or add them to your breakfast cereal. Or use them in a stir-fry vegetable for an exotic touch.
Tip: are the dried figs hard and chewy? Then soak them in warm water for 15 minutes and then dry them. Enjoy!
