Brazil nuts (unroasted & unsalted) BIO

Organic Brazil nuts are also called Brazilian nuts or Amazon nuts. They are rich in copper, magnesium, manganese, potassium, calcium, iron, phosphorus and zinc. Phosphorus in particular is highly present in the nut.

In addition, they are very popular among vegans and athletes because of their high protein content. 100 grams of Brazil nuts contain no less than 14 grams of protein, which means they are close to the protein content of meat or dairy. Vegetarians and vegans can also get their daily amount of selenium from two to five Brazil nuts a day. However, more than this daily amount is not recommended, because there is an increased risk of selenium poisoning. 100 grams of this nut contains 3500% of the RDA of selenium. So eat this snack in moderation!

A delicious savory and healthy snack in between, or after an intense sports session to recover your muscles!
